Research Specialist (BS/MS): Younger Lab

About the Position


The Younger Lab is actively searching for highly motivated Research Specialists to help grow our individualized cellular technologies platform. Responsibilities for this role include the reprogramming of patient biospecimens into induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) as well as methods development for quality control and quality assurance of patient-derived iPSC lines.

Applicants must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in molecular biology, genetics, or a related field and experience in a laboratory setting. Experience working with mammalian cell culture is required. Candidates that have hands-on experience working with stem cell models are highly encouraged to apply.

The Younger Lab is affiliated with the Children's Mercy Research Institute at Children's Mercy Hospital, the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Kansas Medical Center, and the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine.
